Honda to Launch "HondaJet Echelon" in 2026

Honda Aircraft is gearing up for a groundbreaking aviation venture with the "HondaJet Echelon." This 11-seater jet, categorized as a "light jet," is designed to be the first single-pilot light jet capable of flying across the United States without refueling. Notably, it offers a 20% increase in fuel efficiency compared to competitors. The company aims to obtain flight certification from U.S. aviation authorities in 2028.

With one engine on each wing, the aircraft is expected to set industry records and enable transcontinental travel. It will be assembled at Honda's North Carolina factory, with early build processes set to begin in 2024.

The HondaJet Echelon will offer a luxurious, spacious cabin with various layout options, including executive, dual club, and divan seating. Safety enhancements, onboard systems, and technological advancements ensure a comfortable and secure journey.

This ambitious project reflects Honda's commitment to aviation excellence, pushing the boundaries of travel on light jets. It's set to make its debut flight in 2026 and enter the market by 2028.
